Lions, Tigers and Bears - OH MY

I'm on the phone making Dr apts., and while on hold, watching Fox Business. According to the "news" almost all companies, banks and whathaveyou are cutting jobs. Our economy is breaking apart. Oil stock is $44.68/down $2.00; right this moment - not to mention the other stocks/bonds/interest rates or (fill in the blank).

Again, I am still on hold (multitasking - hee hee) and have the mute button on. All I see is old men with oily bad hair, dressed in suits/ties YAKKING. How about a little less talk and more action.

We have not and cannot seem to get our arms around this ugly mess and tick tock, it's getting worse as each day passes. It's going to take a few years of aches and pains to get over this one not to mention millions, billions and trillions of dollars; oh my!

Oops gotta go.. my hold time has expired.

Friend Fired the Day Before Bonus Payout...

Not much going on lately. Talked to a friend today who is looking for a job. We used to work together but she was let go in September. The company decided to eliminate her position; she was a manager who worked really hard. I told her that every time I visited her cube or needed her help that she was always there for me. She provided a high-level of service to the company. We both mulled over why she was let go and could not come up with a reason that made sense.

I do know that the good people who do their job and well, don't always get their bonus. Oh, ya, they let her go one day before that was to be given.

Hats off to Corporate America for being an ASS!

Today in the Mercury News on the front page is an article on Sara Palin and her families wardrobe. ARE YOU SERIOUS! Okay, so the Republican Party spent "$150k" on new clothes for the candidate and family. Purchases made at hi-end retailers too; Nieman and Saks!


I will not state my political choice but I will say I do like Sara Palin. I think she has great potential as a representative for our country. Again, not saying if I will or won't vote republican.

I'm just taking notice that this news has made front page. Do we not have other issues?

This is my first entry. I'm sitting in front of my Laptop watching TV and looking at my dog Roscoe and cat Beli. Roscoe is a large (very large/picture cow) Boxer, Shepphard bit of Pit dog with a huge need for attention. Beli is just big; 20lbs Tabby.

Anyway, I have a few moments before I have to run outta here and decided to create Carol's Blog; my Blog. I frequently have thoughts which I like to share with family and friends and decided to create a Blog at the advise of my sister. She said "you should write about Roscoe". Well Roscoe, if you could read, which I know you would never pass the first grade, please don't flatter yourself and think I actually created this for you. LOL

I created Carol's Blog as to share my thoughts, joy's and experiences with the world or just you.
